SketchyBar does not show up

On my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 sketchy bar doesnt show up, ive tryed everything, some help would be nice!
EDIT:
when i start the service, restart the computer, and run it from terminal, it does this: "sketchybar: could not acquire lock-file... already running?"
when i dont start the service and run sketchybar in the terminal it just is blank. no errors or anything

I have the same issue. Clean install via brew. Default configuration (just followed the install guide).

Got it working. Not sure which of the following did the trick, but here's what I did:

1. Enabled sketchbar in Screen & System Audio Recording in macOS System Prefererences

2. Restarted sketchybar.

brew services restart sketchybar

3. Updated my .aerospace.toml config

inner.vertical = 10
outer.left = 10
outer.bottom = 10
outer.top = 35   # <- this was previously overlapping the bar
outer.right = 10
