Problem Description

Asset name does not contain the -beta suffix

context: i'm writing a Guix packaging and updater script and this anomaly needs special handling.

Proposed Solution

if the release tag and version name is 0.18.0-beta then the asset's name should also contain the -beta suffix.

Alternatives Considered

alternatively, remove the -beta from everywhere.

Original issue was opened by @attila-lendvai as a bug report in #3454 but as this isn't a bug this got converted to a feature request
