I was wondering if there is any way to make this driver part of the linux kernel at the moment of compiling the kernel. I'm working on a small laptop with a 800MHz armel (ARMv5) processor. I think that building the driver on the laptop itself will take ages and another thing is that I will have to reinstall the drivers every time I need to start over again.
Is there any way of making this driver part of the kernel when i build the kernel on my main pc?
