AI Integration and Documentation Workflow for main_ai Branch

Overview

This issue tracks the complete workflow for integrating AI capabilities and creating specification documentation for the multigo_navigation_ai_integrated repository on the main_ai branch.

Tasks

Phase 1: Repository Setup

• Task 1: Fork the repository from multigo_navigation_baseline as multigo_navigation_ai_integrated

Phase 2: Claude Integration

• Task 2: Integrate Claude with updated claude.yml and claude-code-review.yml #2

  • Based on experimentation from: https://github.com/PankajTanwar7/task-manager-demo
  • Use the template repository which contains the prompt and GitHub integration solutions (https://github.com/PankajTanwar7/workflow-system)
  • Implementation from template repository to multigo_navigation_ai_integrated
  • Raise PR after integration

• Task 3: Add updated prompt solution and workflow automation #5

  • Use the template repository which contains the prompt and GitHub integration solutions (https://github.com/PankajTanwar7/workflow-system)
  • Implementation from template repository to multigo_navigation_ai_integrated
  • Raise PR after implementation

• Task 4: GitHub Templates, Workflow Testing, and PR #6 Improvements #7

  • Add GitHub issue/PR templates
  • Fix CLAUDE.md ROS 2 architecture section
  • Add automation artifacts to .gitignore
  • Test basic workflow automation
  • Address @claude suggestions from PR Add workflow automation and prompt solution #6

Phase 3: Documentation Creation

• Task 5: Create the specification documentation from local Claude Code (This part is already done. We will update the results in GitHub once we create the issue for task 5 after task 4).

• Task 6: Create the specification document from GitHub Claude

Phase 4: Analysis and Finalization

• Task 7: Compare both the documents and extract more information out of them

• Task 8: After finalizing the documents, raise, analyze and approve PR

Notes

• All PRs should target the main branch (updated from main_ai after branch consolidation)
• Each task can be converted into a sub-issue if needed
