Rad Pro: Silent mode notification

Running 2.2b5 on a gc01 here, so I saw in the RELEASES.md there is a change for the sound toggle to the down key. Now I tried that and it worked but I was wondering if it had any effect and had to wait for the next pulse and thought maybe it would be nice to have an icon, like a crossed out speaker icon or so that one knows from mobile phones to show there is no clicking sound to be expected?

Also I noticed that when my display is off, there are no clicks audible, is that expected? If yes, can we have a setting to change that, I very much would like clicks also when display is off... (If I enabled "display flash" the display flashes and the clicks turn on, so I guess they are somehow connected now, not sure if that was intentional)
