We are excited to announce that we presented our session, "Safeguarding Your Applications: Achieving Zero Downtime During Kubernetes Upgrades," at the recent KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2025.
In this presentation, we explored strategies to ensure application availability during Kubernetes upgrades. While our main focus was on reducing cluster downtime, we also introduced the Kubernetes History Inspector (KHI). We demonstrated how analyzing the resource diffs calculated from kube-apiserver audit logs can help us understand controller behavior during an upgrade, which is crucial for mitigating downtime risks.
The techniques are not limited to KHI but I believe it proves how KHI helps your Kubernetes troubleshooting easier and comprehensive.
