Description
Gradient Tool Enhancements
- Treat the Gradient Tool as a mask layer (currently no mask), allowing for solid color, gradient, or image fills.
- Automatically create a clipping mask for a single shape when filling it.
- Automatically add groups for selected shapes when filling multiple shapes and create group clipping masks (Is it a good approach to automatically create groups if layers are in different groups? Perhaps creating a clipping mask on the topmost layer and linking other layers to this clipping mask is a better method).
- Gradient Tool mask layers can select (fill area, fill stroke, and path).
- Add reverse and more fill shapes to the Gradient Tool (currently only Linear and Radial are used).
- Click the handle to position to the fill setting, double-click the handle to open the color picker.
- Add a transition point to the handle, by default it is in the center of the handle, the transition point can be slid.
- Add multiple transition points for multiple colors (if there are 3 colors, add 2 transition points).
Additionally, when filling gradients with the Gradient Tool, there is a colored strip at the edge of the handles. I'm unsure if this is due to my display or the Gradient Tool itself (in the selected area).
Please be aware of the above, thank you!
