User Story

As a budget team member, I want the state of my filtering of CANs to persist across UI tabs and CAN-related pages so that I don't lose the scope of desired set of CANs I need to work with.

Acceptance Criteria

  • User-invoked filtering of CANs from a list of CANs is persisted as the user navigates across tabs in the CANs page and even as they go in and out of the CAN details page and its tabs.
  • Once a user leaves CAN related pages, any chosen filtering state can be dropped

Tasks

UX

  • Think through the business rules required to make this work and if there are any negative consequences to usability or UX
  • Determine if there are any necessary design changes

Dev

  • Explore LoE to make this a user-configurable setting.

Definition of Done Checklist

  • UI works as designed (UX team)
  • Usability validated (UX team)
  • PR(s) have been merged to main
  • Design/tech debt eliminated
  • New design/tech debt documented (if applicable)
  • Build process updated
  • Documentation updated or added
  • Feature flags/toggles created
