Blend file
Upload only the problematic armature in the blend file for the smallest file size.
The issue happens even if you add a single-bone armature, can't upload blend files
Bugged behavior

Armature Builder errors, Setup rig is generated but the base armature is not automatically hidden.

Armature builder is not automatically checked; Checking it manually does successfully hide/unhide the base and setup armatures as expected

Entering the Armature Builder, base armature being hidden, armature builder enabled
