Lost word-suggestions in a lot of Firefox text-fields with this version (e. g. Elk). Going back to v3.5 fixed this. Something is wrong.

I tried with DDG search bar on Firefox, both autocorrect and word suggestions are working fine for me.

Ah you're right, not working here on Firefox. Working fine in Brave.

Confirming autocorrect/suggest DOES work in Firefox's addressbar, but does NOT work in all text fields on webpages. Kinda the opposite of the desired behavior.

DISABLING "Don't always show suggestions for web edit fields" fixes the webpage text fields. It's like v3.6 somehow made that setting work the opposite of intended. @Helium314 probably related #2156
