Enhancement for one handed use

Currently on the main screen to bring up the keyboard you have to select the textbox. for one handed use, atleast in my case, its a little annoying to have to adjust my hand to reach the textbox and then adust again to use the keyboard. allowing a user to bring up the keyboard by tapping anywhere on the background would solve this.
