You can try niri. Most stuff won't conflict. (but some will nott work though)

• PS I am running HyDE using niri. Some of the stuff are not ready to have 1:1 parity.
  But multifile config is working now in niri. Also I think there is no way to ge the current cursor position (as per 8 months ago?), this will make the rofi pop up only on the center.

• I suggest using uwsm to manage the env vars
