Several things appeared on commit logs, which I had no idea existed

Tessaract-ocr? Do I have to Install to use that? and how?

Alt+vdoes do something, although I don't know what but what is the QR code scanning about?

Thanks. But just installing tesseract-data-eng (alongside tesseract) should allow us to use OCR for now right? from clipboard with alt+v and then alt+s

Do you think it would be a good idea to add TTS support as well? I will try making it myself when I understand the HyDE's internals and how it works, but that's for later (if this feature is even good enough to learn all that).

we can support extensions soon eg plugins.

I have my personal tools.I can only permit it to be added as an extension ONLY.

• OCR using mistral ( adding mistral key will bypass the need for tesseract)

• Rofi with tts (basically open rofi and ask something then it can output as tts)
  I use piper-tts and grab some random voice and should work.

• and more random stuff

I wrote these tools for my licensure exam review. These niche tools can be Opt-in soon. It's pretty heavy on storage so this will be optional.

Ahh got it, that makes sense 👍

I already use piper-tts actually (it’s so damn lightweight), so the Rofi + TTS idea is fire.
OCR via Mistral as an extension also makes sense. it would be nice to keep Tesseract as an optional fallback for OCR in case there’s no network available for Mistral
