Use case

I have an annotated score represented by a canvas; I wish to use it in its entirety, existing annotations and all, in a new canvas.

Another use case is: I have a video resource that I wish to annotate with an image targeting a particular region and point in time of this video, and I want to associate text with that image.

This came up recently in a discussion around future developments of a video annotation software called MemoRekall.
