We had a successful release of cardano-node that uses ghc-9.6.7
It is time to drop pre ghc-9.6 support

This issue prevents an update to the latest indexes from working on MacOS.

Dropping the dependency on ghcid has unblocked us for now. Since ghcid depended on hfsvnt from Cocoa.
