r(601) error message if already-mounted volume is mounted again #3

If you try to mount a volume that is already mounted, the error message is r(601) (file not found). The message is confusing; instead, it should specify that the file has already been mounted. However, the issue is minor as it doesn't affect the package's functionality any further.

Could you attach a screen shot of the error? Also, what operating system and version of Stata are you using?

I'm using Stata 15, but I get the same error if I specify version 12, in my dofile. This is on Windows 10. Here is the screenshot, as requested:

Again, I should get an error as the file is already mounted. Just pointing out that this shouldn't be an r(601).

Any suggestion on what a useful error message or code would be?

Not sure, I'm not so familiar with their error codes. 603, maybe? 681? I just found the current message confusing. You'd have to look at their error documentation here.
