Grease Pencil Nodes Broken In 4.3.2

Looking into the source code and comparing what I saw with what I see in the api and bpy documentation, it seems like the old GPencil*/GreasePencil APIs are getting phased out and replaced with GrasePencilv3. I just found a page about the transition:

Before finding that page I tried to manually edit the addon's code for grease pencil objects, but the new api requires a ton of new changes and perhaps a whole overhaul, because accessing basic data like stroke positions has been made extra complicated...For instance, in setLayerData in gp_object_output.py, everything that has to do with "strokes" no longer works. I don't know if there are equivalents in the new "attributes" api for anything besides point positional data, and the drawing may have nothing in it anyway, depending on the layer:
