Installed sources not detected as installed #1848

@TrizzaTethis

Description

@TrizzaTethis

Steps to reproduce

To reproduce this bug, simply attempt to install any source.

Expected behavior

Source should be installed.

Actual behavior

Installing any source from any extension causes it to stay within the list of sources that are not installed. The source is listed as an app in your phone (in the apps list in settings) as it should be, but inside J2K it will still have the "install" button next to it, no "trust" button in sight. Waiting some time did not cause the app to sync up and detect them.

Crash logs

No response

TachiyomiJ2K version

1.7.4

Android version

Android 14

Device

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

Other details

The phone recognizes that the source is installed, as clicking install again will usually prompt you to update it. But the app itself apparently can't detect it. It did initially detect sources installed from another Tachiyomi fork, but as of an hour ago has not been able to do that either.

Acknowledgements

  • I have searched the existing issues and this is a new ticket, NOT a duplicate or related to another open issue.
  • I have written a short but informative title.
  • If this is an issue with an extension, I should be opening an issue in the extensions repository.
  • I am reporting an issue exclusive to this fork. I have also checked that is not an issue on the main version of Tachiyomi
  • I have tried the troubleshooting guide.
  • I have updated the app to version 1.7.4.
  • I have updated all installed extensions.
  • I have admitted that I am a clown by having checked this box, as I have not read these acknowledgements.
