e_tooltip when using e_tooltip_item_formatter

Hey guys,
When i use e_tooltip without formatter it properly displays the value of the y-axis. But everytime i apply the formatter, specifically e_tooltip_item_formatter it will instead format and display whatever value is on the x-axis. You can actually see it in the example on the main page about the formatter.

In my case on my data i have months x KPIs and instead of having a formatted KPI as my tooltiip, it is instead formatting the numbers in the Month (x-axis) specifically the year

Can you guys check if this is how it should behave.
