How do I change the pixel.otf font?

I tried to do so previously but it either didn't do anything or it broke any text with the font on it. Is there any way to do it?

A already tried doing this (the file for it is in the drive) and it didn't work.

I wouldn't use OTF for FNF, instead use TTF because it works better on Windows and such

Also to clarify, I meant as in how do I do it for the release version, not source. Sorry for not mentioning this in the prompt.
