Touchegg command failure

On Ubuntu 24.04 with Touchegg v2.0.18, the EXECUTE action is not functional. The service runs and SEND_KEYS works for simple gestures, but EXECUTE fails silently even for simple commands like touch. We confirmed the commands work in the terminal, the user is in the audio group, and we tried wrapping the command in bash -c and CDATA blocks. A workaround using SEND_KEYS for custom shortcuts also failed.

Could share you configuration file and the script you are trying to run, please?

If there are errors, the output of this command will help as well:

$ touchegg --debug

Also, make sure you are not running Wayland (echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE), Touchégg is a X11 only tool.
