In my opinion, manually setting the installation folder is unnecessary in many cases.
If the installation folder has not been manually specified, clicking "Open Installation Folder" should default to the directory where the game's main process is located.
This would simplify user interaction and improve usability, especially for games already installed but not configured with a custom installation path.

All automated import methods already automatically populate installation folder, including more "manual" methods like dragging and dropping game exe/shortcut into Playnite. So there's basically only one scenario where you wouldn't have installation folder automatically populated and that's when adding game entry manually and manually configuring game actions. In which case I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect user to also properly configure installation folder.

That makes sense, but it would be better if, when the user hasn't set the program folder, clicking the button opens the process folder by default.
