Blurry labels when using LaTeXStrings and saving the plot

julia> using Plots, LaTeXStrings

julia> plot(tickfont=font(30, "Times"), xtick=([0.3, 0.5, 0.7], [L"0.3", L"0.5", L"0.7"]))

julia> savefig("1.png")

The problem did not occur on the latest 1.40 release (v1.40.20). I noticed that the savefig command closes the plot window in the old version and does not anymore in the new version - maybe that is related.
