Too many rpc requests via multiple app instances freezes mixer/lighttpd

Running multiple instances of the monitor interface app (say 6) will cause all output to cease. The RPCs continuously fail. Refreshing the page fails and loops forever (looks like lighttpd is hung too). Only option is to restart Clira.
