I would still like to use it in IJulia :) JuliaLang/IJulia.jl#962
I'm not sure how much time I have to maintain it though. If IJulia used it would you/@aviatesk still find it worthwhile to maintain?

It seems like we don't have enough time/dev-forces to maintain this package.
This package is designed with an approach of managing a copy of REPL.REPLCompletions, which incurs considerable maintenance costs.
Furthermore, considering the current IDE environment, most IDE environments use LSP, and in LSP's "completions" functionality, the server side returns all candidate completion text, while the client side handles the presentation of candidates including fuzzy matching.
In other words, the necessity of performing such fuzzy completion on the Julia side used in server implementation is not very high, at least in current IDE environments.

So I would like to archive this package, as suggested by @pfitzseb .

If we want similar functionality, I think it's necessary to implement some kind of plugin system in REPL.REPLCompletions.
For example, a design like JuliaInterpreter.jl's Interpreter interface should be applicable: https://github.com/JuliaDebug/JuliaInterpreter.jl/blob/f9bdad53a4fc6412da3f9a7e119a049e0b5d5a66/src/types.jl#L1-L9.
