At least, it does this on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G running Android 12 (OneUI 4.0).

I think this is just the way the audio tone is generated by phones, so an easy way to solve this could be to gradually fade in/out the sound.

I've managed to do it for the start of playback, but not for the end. I'll release it as is and work on the ending in the future, so this issue stays open.
