Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate ?

It seems that most requests to http://eurostat.linked-statistics.org don't acknowledge requests for compressed representations of the gigabyte-sized RDF/XML data dumps. Could adding this reduce some bandwidth usage and wait times?
