Hi, The original goal of Activity Browser is to allow easier modelling and exploration of data and results. These are also the most common activities in 'regular' LCA. With Brightway, you can do much more, for example editing many activities all at once, doing advanced analyses etc. The more specialized the things you want to do, the more likely it is you'd have to use Brightway. In case you want to use learn Brightway, you can find the documentation here and the beginners emailing list here. If you want to learn more about Activity Browser, you can check out our wiki or ask any questions not answered by the wiki in this forum! Hope that answers your question and helps you on your way! |

Hi everyone,
I’m new to Brightway and the Activity Browser, so apologies if this question has already been covered. I have searched the forum but didn’t find any discussions on this topic.
I’m just getting started with Brightway and noticed there is also this graphical interface called the Activity Browser. Since I don’t have any programming experience, I’m inclined to use the Activity Browser. However, I would like to know if there are any significant differences between using AB and working directly with Brightway. If there are clear advantages to using Brightway itself, I’m willing to put in the effort to learn the basics.
Thanks in advance for your help!
