What happened?
Hello. Trying to work as a team on a shared virtual computer where the brightway directory has been put on the Public user, so that everyone accesses the same project. I know that we won't be able to modify at the same time the processes, as the SQL database in the background will be locked. But that's not the issue we face right now.
Whenever two people simply consult the database by opening AB at the same time, the json files reset. That is, the databases.json and the methods.json files (the other json file were not changed from their default). Which means that whenever two people open AB at the same time, linking to the same brightway directory, the data ends up hidden in AB because the json files are reset to being empty.
Right now the way we circumvent the issue and to tell everyone to copy paste back into the brightway directory the two json files whenever this issue happens, but this is impractical. So you have any tips to share to deal with this issue? Or is the issue fixable?
