Describe the bug
When clicking on a document its attribute fields sometimes behave strangely.
When the problem occurs editing the title and date still works as intended but for tag, document type and corresponent it's different:

  1. An already assigned tag cannot be removed, i.e., nothing happens when clicking it's cross.
  2. When typing in document type no suggestions are made and the option to add a new document type does not appear.
  3. The correspondent field has the same problem as document type.
  4. The Save button on the bottom does not work, i.e., nothing happens when clicking it.

The problems seem to occur at random times. When restarting the application everything works again for at least one document. Also when the problems are present and one waits for >20sec, oftentimes the problems are gone by then.
All those problems occur together, i.e., they are all there or everything works fine.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click on a document
  2. Try to edit either tags, document type or correspondent or just save

Expected behavior
Documents be edited or saved.

Hey Glawleschkoff, thank you for reporting this.

Random issues like this are always a bit harder to debug/reproduce, but I'll try my best and let you know if I find something.

If you find any way to reliably reproduce the issue, let me know!

Hey Leo,

thanks for your great work! I appreciate it!
In addition to the issues @Glawleschkoff described, in my macOS app the date fields always show a "clear" icon above the text segments of date, month and year when showing/editing a document - therefore the date is not readable anymore and also not well editable. Also the date picker icon has no action.
See screenshot:

This is the case every time I use the macOS app - Version 2.3.0 (348).

Hey Manuel,

thank you for reporting this! I've just released an update to TestFlight to fix this issue. After the review is done, it will also release to the AppStore.
If you want to try the TestFlight version until then, you can join the beta using the link at the bottom of the settings tab.

Great! Yes, thanks for letting me know - I'm happy to contribute by reviewing the beta releases via TestFlight!

@LeoKlaus, I now installed the beta (v 2.4.0), but my purchase in this app cannot be restored. Is there any way to make the (beta) app the full version again to not be restricted in only showing 6 documents?
Thanks for any hint!

Sorry, I completely forgot about this. TestFlight doesn't support real in app purchases, therefore you can't restore them either.
You can just "buy" the full version again, you won't be charged, it's just simulating a purchase (it will also say so in the small purchase pop-up).
