We've not a router. LibreQoS is an inline bridge for ISPs to run at the
head-end (before NAT) to shape all their customers.
You can get cake on OpenWRT already - which can be really helpful down at
the wifi layer.
LibreQoS doesn't care (or even know) what types of router you use!

Presently libreqos only supports ubuntu 22.04. This is due to VERY LIMITED resources on our parts, and the high quality of ubuntu to begin with. Also, some folk ARE successfully using hypervisors which we are not presently even thinking about. Over time, however, we will need to move forward, as well as support an older release, and other OSes and distributions have favor in some circles. We also anticipate having to move forward in linux kernels in order to gain ever fuller XDP support, as well as full support for newer network cards.
