The filling section lists "226 g (2 sticks) cold butter, cut into slices". The directions section does not mention the use of butter while making the filling, instead in mentions putting "pieces of butter in a food processor" when making the crust. The crust ingredients lists "225 g butter", strangely similar to 226g listed for the filling.
From what little experience I have in cooking I do know that some apple pie recipes do require some amount of butter for the filling, but 2 sticks for the filling alone seems a bit high. It is possible that a lower amount of butter was intended for the filling. 1tbsp perhaps?
