In a fresh Debian bookworm installation, first installed thing this script, the script errors on the row
printf "!!! Neither /etc/default/spamassassin or /etc/default/spamd exists, this is unexpected and needs to be investigated"
The resulting mail system works, without spam control (apparently, this not so critical anymore as it was years ago, it got some days for me to notice it).
I fixed it by installing spamd and redoing manually the missing steps (at this point /etc/default/spamd exists), but I think the script should directly install spamd (at least on Debian 12).
