Change Language

Hello,

I have tried to change the language from ‘en’ to ‘de’.
Under Settings -> Basic + All Settings - Language used by Lychee it also ‘de’
I have also set ‘de’ in the /config/app.php file
In the database (config) it also says ‘de’

But many points remain in English, although I have also translated the files in the folder ‘lang’, ‘de’.

What am I doing wrong ?

You are doing nothing wrong.

It is just that the language are compiled into Json and then buddled. See #3030 (comment)

I agree what this is not the most intuitive setup... In your case, if you run npm run build, you should see the changes.
You may want to check https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/blob/master/docker-compose.yaml

By running docker compose up -d you will get a fully working environment thanks to the work of @ppshobi
You can then run npm run build within the container to get the translations json file fixed.

Unfortunately, I cannot use Docker.
I have unpacked the zip and started the installation that way.
