In Score Editor, an error occurs in the way the triplum is being transcribed. If the staves are being read by the program from top to bottom, as is presumed, then this would account for the incorrect layout that results. The triplum staff at the very top of the folio is being read first when transcribed and the adjacent short and long staves further down are read in an alternating fashion based on whichever staff is higher. As can be seen, the staves in the left column need to be transcribed before the ones in the center column (including the longer ones toward the bottom).

This is an issue to keep at the back of our minds, and to think about the different ways that manuscript layout will affect the saving and compilation of content in the right order.
