Using AnuraOS with lightspeed blocking all websocket connections

Is it possible to get around lightspeed blocking all websocket connections? I am using gh codespaces to run AnuraOS.

This is super annoying but it's technically possible to make anura use bare for networking

You would need a functional bare server at your disposal but it would work

I didn't see anything in the docs (or I'm blind) about how to configure a specific bare server, could you point me in the right direction?

you cant, I was actually making a plugin for it instead, this was my progress https://files.catbox.moe/iwffje.ajs

but it turns out there is actually an anura-sw bug which prevents this from working all together, annoyingly. For one its mistakenly handling cross origin requests from anura and for two its stripping the headers on them. Very inconvenient but I think I know a workaround for now

Maybe you could integrate my project, wist? It works alongsides Wisp and can be used as a drop-in replacement for WebSocket, provided a compatible server (Sorry for advertising, if that's a problem. I just want to help fix this issue)

we were considering a polyfill system like this, and your project does solve the issues but i don't think it would be suitable for anura. repeatedly sending http requests is a lot less efficient compared to the alternatives and a rust server makes deployment difficult

Wist might still be useful for normal HTTP information access (and maybe custom request-response protocols ,like Discord) because it stops sending when the user is done. Would that use-case be good for wist (in anuraOS, maybe a "lite mode", excuse the pun)? Rust deployment does seem harder, so I might make a TypeScript server; would you want that?

Okay, that would work too. You can even fork Wist if you want; It's ISC licensed
