Could you add a feature to the core where you define an input mode called "Dual Stick" or something like that? The idea would be that the left analog stick moves the Intellivision disc, and the right analog stick pushes the various numbers, and a center press on the right analog stick presses the '5'. The left two triggers can be the left side buttons and the right two triggers can be the right side buttons, and have everything be definable. Have it ask you to wiggle the stick you want to use for the directions, the stick for the number pad, and select the buttons (triggers) you want for the four buttons (yes, two of them are the same, but they are on both sides of the controller). It should also ask for the Clear, Enter and 0 buttons, and the 5. This could also work with dual digital sticks like in an arcade cabinet, so support for one or two controllers for player one would be nice too although this may already work with changes to the MiSTer.ini file to combine the two controllers into one for player one.
