The games attract mode will run through various athletes performing different events. After their sequence has finished you will sometimes see a Sega logo, very infrequently this will have a row of glitched graphics in the bottom right corner, how it looks can vary.
Unfortunately it's not something that appears every time, might only show 1 in 6 times. As such I have not been able to confirm if real hardware is doing this too, as all footage I can find doesn't run the attract sequence for long enough.
