📣 Your monthly GBFS news update! 🚲 🛴 🛵 🚘
Here are 2 major updates!
🚲 🛴 For the First Time Ever: GBFS is in the Mobility Database 🛵 🚘
We’re excited to announce that the Mobility Database now includes GBFS feeds, starting with over 1,000 shared mobility feeds from around the world!
Until now, the database focused on public transit (GTFS) data. With this release, we’re expanding to support bike, scooter, and other shared mobility systems, making the database even more powerful for journey planners, researchers, and cities.
Now you can:
🌍 Explore where shared mobility systems exist globally
🔍 Search GBFS feeds via the API for quick discovery
👌 Assess feed quality with the validation report before processing the data
Currently using systems.csv? No problem! The spreadsheet will continue to be synchronized with the Mobility Database at least until the end of the year to allow you time to transition smoothly.
Whether you're planning trips, analyzing systems, or improving data quality, the Mobility Database makes open transportation data easier to find and easier to use.
