Allow to select a period of time in the playback

Allow the user to select a period of time (start, end) in the playback selector. It would be good if this is disabled by default, and if the user wants this feature, then they should enable it manually.
When a period of time is selected, then it should start over when it hits the last date (replay it again and again).
