Instructions on installing VAPOR on unix machine

Can you provide instructions for installing VAPOR v3.9.3 on a Unix machine (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS)? This page seems outdated: (https://ncar.github.io/VaporDocumentationWebsite/downloads/installationInstructions.html.).

Hi Julia, you can simply place the AppImage file in any directory and execute it from there. Send the -help option to see how to use the command line tools. I'll file a ticket to make the instructions more clear.

Thank you. Please file a ticket. It returns error: "vapor: /lib64/libm.so.6: version GLIBC_2.29'"](vapor: /lib64/libm.so.6: version GLIBC_2.29' not found). Our system is GLIBC_2.28. Do you have a version works for GLIBC_2.28?

Can you tell me about your use case? Is this for a cluster? It looks like RHEL8.6 ended its maintenance in May of last year. Is it possible to update the OS?
