This is legacy from before we had spatially distributed netcdf parameter files. Originally the model was using a lookup table for the initial parameter values, regridding to the high-res grid, and then applying the scaling factors from Fulldom.nc. We have not had resources to merge those all together, but at some point we might if we decide to officially retire the lookup table. |

Hello I am using so far version 5.2 of WRF-HYDRO
the file hydro2dtbl.nc is mapped on the coarse grid but includes data needed for the runoff simulation on the fine grid.
the high resolution grid includes 3 parameters that complement the data in hydro2dtbl.nc:
OVROUGHRTFAC, LKSATFAC and REPDEPRTFAC. Is there a reason why the file hydro2dtbl.nc should not be mapped to the high resolution file and then transfer these 3 parameters from it to the hydro2dtbl.nc file.
the reason is that it would make sensitivity analysis and parameter estimation runs more logical
