what is the status in regards to any functionality to export data? E.g. if I want to select all data from one species, a specific year and colony, and then export them, so I can work with them in R for specific research questions / analyses. Have you been working on this functionality?
Thanks!
Nina

It is possible to work on the database from R without intermediate export steps, as well as export CSV files by connecting to the database (with dbeaver or pgadmin) or by using the web interface.
What is currently missing is a set of predefined queries and save them as views, so that it would be easier for users to use the data. This is something we could discuss together or make a list of standard requests :)
Ok, I see. That sounds like a much better solution indeed than exporting csv-files! Then I suggest we set up a meeting next week about this. I'll check your & Niccolo's calendar, and will also invite Vilde to the meeting.
