Poor reconstruction and large artifacts on kokko scene

Hi, thank you for your great and inspiring open-source work!
I successfully ran your released code on the MuSHRoom dataset. The results on most scenes are consistent with those reported in your paper — very impressive!

However, when I tested on the "kokko" scene, the reconstruction quality dropped significantly. There are numerous Gaussian artifacts, and the mesh evaluation shows a Chamfer Distance of around 20 cm.

Thanks for the helpful discussion. I realized that I was using a short sequence from the MuSHRoom dataset, rather than the long sequence used in the FDS paper. Additionally, I didn't do COLMAP with fixed camera poses from the dataset.

These differences could explain the failure I encountered.
