Issue details

During the research software templates session in RSECon24, there were several suggestions of good practices that could be implemented by the template.

I am honestly not sure I understand what some of the suggestions refer to, but here they are:

• REUSE
• ORCiD option
• GitHub files like readmes and PR templates -- already there?
• Tutorial embedded
• funding file, people who contributed but not via a repo user, back links
• Data location
