TOUGH3 - Minimum Reservoir Thickness?

I am using a reservoir with a low thickness (~5 m) that does not work when using TOUGH3 modeling. I checked the literature and there is nowhere about a minimum thickness. I was able to figure out that the minimum thickness is 10 m when using TOUGH3 modeling. I was wondering if it is possible to decrease the minimum thickness inside the code?
