ERROr of :nekrs23/nek5000/core/dssum.f:864: Error: Can't open included file 'mpif.h'

I have sucessfully compiled and installed nekRS23, but when it ried to run the periodicHill in example directory. it feedback error about "Can't open included file 'mpif.h'.
I am wandering since the compilation and install process is sucessful, why this happed.
