We need to push a lot of older nuget packages into Github but this fails because Github (or nuget) insists that the attribute is present.

Doing this for new work isn't much of a problem but for packages built years ago some of which likely can't be rebuilt, this is a serious problem.

Why would anyone insist on this being present?

Is there a way to byapss this check?

Is there some way to supply the info when we do the push?

Any info much appreciated!
