Language leader for Frisian

Hi, I'd like to become the local leader for the Frisian language.
I am currently localizer for several software products, mainly for Mozilla, including Common Voice.

I think it's best if you first provide PRs for Frisian to be included. As the first contributor for Frisian you should easily become language leader then.

Hi @andreasbrett , I hope you can help me where to start with which PR or documentation to try to include Frisian into HA.
I was a little bit distracted from this lately, because I completely checked the Frisian localization on https://app.lokalise.com and did a consistency check, which is all done now. So now its time to start with including voice control.
Maybe @TheFes is able to help me out too?

Where do you need help on at this moment? My Frisian is about as good as my Icelandic, so I won't be any help in the translation part :)

Only thing I know is It giet oan and I'm afraid it will be a cold day in hell before we hear that again.

I won't be of much help since I haven't heard about Frisian before this discussion.

Please note though that there is currently no speech to text and no text to speech support for Frisian in Azure STT and Azure TTS (used in nabu casa cloud). Not sure about other systems like Piper and whisper, but I assume it's the same. That means it will be a text-based Frisian support for Assist only (for now).

Indeed Frisian is not available in the larger models like MS Azure, but the reason I checked this out, is a mention about Mozilla's Common Voice project working together with Home Assistant. Common Voice is the project I started for Frisian several years ago and by now we have a corpus as you can see on https://commonvoice.mozilla.org/fy-NL/datasets.
So my hope is that it will be possible to use the CV corpus on Home Assistant.
@andreasbrett can you elaborate a bit on that subject, or do I have to high hopes?

I'm not too deep into STT and TTS in home assistant. I merely use the nabu casa cloud and try to improve the German intents. Maybe @synesthesiam can help out here. Not sure how Mozilla CV can be used for Piper / Whisper.

BTW: there is also a Common Voice for Dutch (nl): https://commonvoice.mozilla.org/nl/datasets.
Not mentioned before, I don't need help on Frisian, just on the technical stuff, since it is not my daily job to work with PR's etc., although I understand how it works.
