Description
The problem
When using the Polish language in Assist, the imperative verb "sprawdź" ("check") is not recognized,
even if it is explicitly included in custom_sentences
.
Example file (custom_sentences/pl/smieci.yaml
):
language: pl
intents:
UpcomingTrash:
data:
- sentences:
- "sprawdź wywóz śmieci"
What happens
In Assist → Sentence Analyzer:
input: sprawdź wywóz śmieci
result: no intent matched
Variants tested:
sprawdz wywoz smieci
sprawdź odbiór śmieci
→ same result.
What works
Other forms like:
kiedy będzie wywóz śmieci
co ze śmieciami
…are recognized correctly and mapped to the UpcomingTrash intent.
Expected behavior
The imperative verb "sprawdź" should be handled by the Polish NLU model and correctly matched to the intent when explicitly defined in custom_sentences.

Additional info
This seems to be a limitation of the Polish tokenizer / NLU model in handling imperative verbs.
